SEEKER’S CLASS

Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves.  Do what it says.  -  James 1:22

Welcome!  Our class meets every Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m. in the church library, right next to Wesley Hall.  The majority of the class membership is young/middle age adults but all ages are welcomed.  Class study is focused on variety of Bible based series that run 4-6 weeks.

The class hosts a breakfast on the 2nd Sunday of each month and invites all who may not be involved in a particular class.  This year we are including the confirmation class and their mentors as well.  Please join us for a delicious meal and fellowship.

Over the last several years the Seeker’s have entered the Snake Saturday Parade with a float.  The class also actively assists with the annual Easter Egg Hunt, the Avonaires Ham & Bean Dinner, Vacation Bible School, and Summer Sunday School for the children and youth.  The Seeker’s Class has hosted the annual Trunk or Treat event for the last several years as well.

We wish the best to our former teacher, Larry Schmitz, and his wife Kristy, as they serve as missionary teachers at The English-speaking School of Lubumbashi in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.  You can follow their adventures on their blog at http://schmitzinthecongo.wordpress.com
