Avondale has had the pleasure of supporting all the Scouting communities. Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, and all levels of Girl Scouts (Daisy through Seniors) have all met at the church at various times.
Cub Pack 179 and Boy Scout Troop 179 are Chartered to Avondale United Methodist Church.
