The AUMC Food Pantry is located at the Avondale United Methodist Church.
It is open to residents of Clay, Platte and Jackson Counties, and can be visited once per month.
When the NKC School District is closed due to Bad Weather, the Food Pantry will also be closed.
We provide assistance based on family size. A typical offering will consist of canned goods, dry goods, frozen meat products, bread, and fresh produce in season. We also stock a small supply of paper goods and hygiene products. If you follow a vegetarian diet, please let us know when you arrive. No unaccompanied minor children please.
DONATIONS
If you wish to make donations, please stop by on Wednesday during our open hours and talk with a volunteer.
Non-perishables can be left at the church office during office hours Tue-Thu 9 a.m. – 2 p.m., or in the designated area of the church main entry Narthex on Sundays. (Please, no expired or opened items.)
